What Is On Offer
Looking for someone/a few someones to live in and love our relatively remote fully furnished converted Irish schoolhouse located in the stunning Glen of Aherlow. The ideal spot to write that book, practice that instrument or paint that masterpiece. Our main concern is to keep the garden looking good, the place ticking over and the bills paid, which is difficult to do from overseas. Ideally would like to find someone to take it for a year or so but shorter lets can be arranged.
The Property
The front: an original Irish schoolhouse with stone walls, high ceilings, a huge fireplace, small functional kitchen, a mezzanine bedroom, another double bedroom and a bathroom. Glass doors lead out to the recent addition: a suberb modern, light open living area with dream kitchen, big double room, bathroom and sweeping views of the beautiful Glen of Aherlow. This house is unique in that it can be divided into two self-sufficient and extremely comfortable living spaces.
The Neighbourhood
The Glen of Aherlow is famous for its spectacular mountains, walks, horseriding, fishing and farming. 10 minutes drive from Tipperary town. 5 minutes walk from the nearest neighbour, it is remote but well connected. Shannon and Cork airports both approx 1 hour drive away.
